Birches Frankston South sits on Overport Road with 95 approved places, opening 6:30am to 6:30pm and running rooms from the nursery through to a four-year-old kindergarten group. Sessions are offered in nine, ten and twelve-hour blocks. It is part of a family-owned Victorian group with centres across the south-east.

It is one of three Little Acorns centres on the Peninsula.

Its October 2026 assessment came back Meeting in all seven quality areas, as the March 2023 one did, and it is the most recent rating held by any long day care service in the suburb. An August 2026 regulatory visit found no enforcement actions, and the approval carries no conditions.

The register lists $85.00 a day at every age with no inclusions. That is less than half the rate of most centres here, so ask what the day includes, particularly meals and nappies, before you compare it with the others.

Little Acorns takes the third slot on the strength of a fresh rating and a low price.
